Unseen Galaxy is HeyStephenHey’s programme designed to spot and develop talent that the games industry might normally miss. The programme delivers video game work experience scenarios for colleges, schools and other organisations. We’ve worked with organisations including NextGen Academy, Game Academy, Creative UK, and colleges across the UK.

For colleges, teams are formed to tackle real industry generated briefs to create mini-games, complete with marketing plans to support the release. The games are then pitched to industry experts, and the best are published on itch.io.

School projects may be more analogue focused, for example using paper prototyping rather than coding, but programmes can be customised depending on the situation.
